Lana Del Rey lanzará un audiolibro de poesía

Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass estará disponible a finales de este mes.

A través de un comunicado en Instagram, la cantautora estadounidense dio a conocer la portada de su próximo libro de poesía,  que estará disponible en formato físico y de audio. Este nuevo proyecto estará bajo el nombre de Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, donde la pintura corresponde a la artista Erika Lee Sears, y a su vez, estará acompañado por música hecha por Jack Antonoff, quien fue el productor del álbum más reciente de Lana Del Rey, Norman Fucking Rockwell.

El audiolibro tendrá una duración de 33 minutos, donde Lana recitará 14 poemas, mientras que el formato de pasta tendrá una extensión de 112 páginas. El primero estará disponible a partir del 28 de julio y el segundo saldrá hasta el 29 de septiembre. Ambos se podrán conseguir a través de plataformas como Amazon y Waterstones.

Por otro lado, las ganancias de este libro estarán destinadas a la fundación The Navajo Water Project con la finalidad de llevar agua corriente y energía solar a 230 familias de Nuevo México, Utah y Arizona. Cabe destacar que, en diciembre de 2019 Del Rey afirmó que las ganancias de sus libros serían donadas a organizaciones nativas americanas.
