Angel Olsen estrena “Time Bandits” a través de Instagram

Las redes sociales de Olsen han sido sus aliadas durante el confinamiento, este single original y acompañado de un piano te lo demuestra.

Angel Olsen no ha parado de crear un montón de cosas nuevas y magníficas durante los últimos meses, ha mostrado covers y recientemente tuvo una participación en Tiny Desk (Home) Concert, donde presentó algunas canciones de su próximo álbum; este fin de semana claramente no fue la excepción. 

La cantautora dio a conocer “Time Bandits” por medio de su cuenta de Instagram, donde a lo largo de 11 minutos se puede apreciar una composición de piano, un tanto triste y lenta que reflexiona sobre la vida en el aquí y ahora. Olsen reveló que escribió la canción hace unas semanas, pero su intención no fue hacer referencia a la conocida película de 1981 de Terry Gilliam del mismo nombre.

Escribí esto después de regresar a casa de St. Louis hace unas semanas... en contra de mi mejor criterio, decidí poner nuevas canciones, es un negocio pero es mi negocio”, menciona Angel Olsen.

Olsen repite a lo largo de “Time Bandits” lo siguiente. “Te quiero, te quiero, te necesito ahora mismo / Estar aquí y recostarte y estar en el suelo / Y escucharlo y sentirlo y saber que estás atado / A la tierra el uno al otro, y ahí es donde se encuentra / El amor que queríamos el futuro que necesitamos / No podemos hacerlo solos, tenemos que creer / El uno en el otro el uno en el otro sea tan grueso como los ladrones”.
